Arclin has an immediate opening for an IT Business Partner (often known as a Financial Systems Manager), to work a Hybrid Schedule (3 Days in Office), out of our Corporate office. We are a rapidly growing, $2.5B global chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. As we embark on our journey to become a publicly traded entity, we are seeking transformative leaders to modernize our global accounting and finance systems. We are seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between IT and finance, leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency. A primary focus of this role will be preparing our greenfield SAP S4/HANA environment for an upcoming IPO by strengthening internal controls and streamlining accounting processes. This individual will be responsible for optimizing SAP utilization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial systems and reporting accuracy to meet strict public company audit standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in finance and reporting, ideally within an IT business partner role.
  • Experience in manufacturing or inventory management environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and reporting tools like Power BI.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards, with a strong preference for experience handling SOX controls in a pre-IPO or public company setting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and automation.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Finance leaders to understand their business strategy and objectives, ensuring IT projects align with these goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring alignment on goals and projects.
  • Assess and deploy underutilized SAP system controls to improve financial data integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in preparation for SOX testing and public market scrutiny.
  • Support teams in identifying and implementing technology-driven improvements in financial processes.
  • Enhance the journal entry workflow to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Automate key accounting processes, including monthly FX rate entry, bank reconciliation, cash receipts, and allocations.
  • Evaluate SAP system utilization to identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and implement optimizations that drive business value.
  • Drive the automation of critical financial processes, such as those related to inventory and production, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and automate financial reports, including work order variance reporting and monthly consumed cost analysis.
  • Enhance reports for Inventory and Production by leveraging SAP, and Power BI to provide greater accuracy, real-time visibility, and actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Work with Finance and IT to build Data Warehouse for accurate reports – one source of truth.
  • Utilize tools like Power BI to create segment reports and enhance data accessibility for stakeholders.
