About The Position

The IT Business Analyst acts as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders by understanding business problems and change needs, assessing the business impact of problems/changes and translating them into an IT demand. This position is responsible for supporting purchasing-related functions at the corporate and plant levels. The position will support ERP applications, integrations, and process improvements through project management and coordinated efforts with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in computer science, management information systems or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of work experience in business process and/or IT
  • Experience in a global environment desirable
  • Knowledge in data structures and relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 PC applications
  • ERP Experience, specifically JDE World
  • Ability to work individually across functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and SQL
  • Understanding of vendor EDI/Punchout
  • Previous usage of Power BI or Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Configures, implements, maintains and upgrades Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules within functional area of responsibility
  • Provides ongoing system support both internal (xBerry) & external (Vendor) for supported applications and ERP modules
  • Collaborates with IT and business to identify process gaps and how to effect resolve them using system alternatives or enhancements.
  • Analyzes user requirements to determine ERP and related systems configuration and customization within functional area of responsibility
  • Designs, tests, and deploys system enhancements to support business process improvement
  • Prepares communication and makes presentations on system enhancements and presents to user base
  • Leads projects effectively using project management software
  • Manages cross functional projects improving processes in multiple functional areas improving end user productivity
  • Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems within functional area of responsibility
  • Responsible for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) end to end processes
  • Develops and maintains documentation of IT systems and applications within functional area of responsibility and coordinates incorporation of documentation within applications (e.g., online help)
