About The Position

The IT Business Analyst / Data Strategist owns the two-week discovery sprint and the use case backlog for the life of the engagement. This role runs structured sessions with client program offices to translate mission priorities into a prioritized, actionable delivery plan, and is the connective tissue between client stakeholders and the technical build teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience in data, analytics, or enterprise platform environments.
• Demonstrated experience running discovery workshops and managing a prioritized backlog in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
• Strong facilitation, requirements-elicitation, and documentation skills; comfortable presenting to program and executive stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Snowflake, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or Tableau environments preferred.
• Federal or public-sector business analysis experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate discovery sessions with client program offices to capture priorities, pain points, and candidate use cases.
• Produce the Use Case Priority Backlog, Data Source Inventory, and the sprint-by-sprint 90-Day Execution Roadmap with KPIs, all due by the end of Week 2.
• Confirm the integration architecture in partnership with the Database Architect, Integration Engineers, and Salesforce Lead Engineer.
• Maintain and re-prioritize the use case backlog as priorities evolve.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the Snowflake, MuleSoft, Salesforce, and Tableau delivery teams.
• Support sprint reviews with clear, stakeholder-ready reporting on progress against mission outcomes.
