The IT Business Analyst and Scrum Master (Contractor) are responsible for gathering, understanding, and documenting stakeholder business needs to ensure that the ASCP IT Development Team has the information needed to build solutions. This person is responsible for gathering data and information from stakeholders, reviewing and providing feedback on work in progress, conducting stakeholder review and user acceptance testing, and writing functional and technical documentation. They are also responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, including managing stand-ups and tracking progress, participating in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, and tracking progress during sprints. The IT Business Analyst and Scrum Master (Contractor) is accountable for ensuring that the solutions delivered by the Development Team meet the agreed-upon requirements, that user-acceptance processes have been followed, and that documentation has been developed to enable ongoing management of the solutions. They are also accountable for ensuring that the team follows Agile principles, removing obstacles, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts. The IT Business Analyst and Scrum Master (Contractor) must have the technical and written/oral communication skills to ensure effective documentation of business requirements and system functionality and the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical staff. In addition, they must be skilled at questioning assumptions, eliciting detailed requirements, and identifying blind spots. They must demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills to enable effective guidance of the team in following Agile methodology.
