This role involves reviewing vendor contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and other IT and cybersecurity contractual requirements to confirm compliance. The IT Auditor will evaluate the design and implementation of vendor cybersecurity controls against contractual and industry standards. This includes collecting and analyzing evidence such as security policies, system configurations, logs, and access records, as well as conducting interviews with vendor personnel to assess security practices and governance. The position requires performing control testing and sampling to verify the effectiveness of technical and administrative safeguards, identifying gaps, deficiencies, or non-compliance, and assessing associated risks. The IT Auditor will prepare audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions, track remediation efforts, and validate the closure of audit findings. Coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor risks are communicated and addressed is also a key responsibility.
