Requirements

5+ years experience network, system admin, technical operations experience required.
Must possess solid technical skills.
Must be able to research and solve problems.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must possess excellent documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Nice To Haves

Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures align with KNX IT Management defined policies and workflows.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the information security compliance strategy and security control frameworks in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
Assist technical team to insure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Review security controls and recommend additional security controls for implementation.
Conduct audits and reviews of endpoint, network, and system security controls, and manage remediation efforts.
Conduct security reviews of the network security architecture to identify accesses and assess the risk to these changes.
Report unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
Assist, as necessary, IT Security to perform security reviews of software and applications proposed for use.
Identify compliance gaps, process improvements, and risk remediation measures.
Develop and maintain documentation for applications, systems, and procedures.
Coordinate bi-annual user access reviews and ensure changes on the folder permissions are made in a timely fashion.
Revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent compliance gaps in policy, procedures, and control design.
Coordinate quarterly elevated access reviews to ensure access is appropriate.
Review password configurations and validate adherence to policy requirements.
Perform duties of Compliance Specialist as needed.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
