Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated, organized, and articulate associate to join our diligent IT Asset Management (ITAM) team. The Hardware Asset Management Associate supports the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with governance standards, and effective risk management. This role plays a key part in improving asset visibility through automation, strengthening control frameworks, and supporting audit-ready asset management practices across the organization. By maintaining accurate asset data and enforcing governance standards, our team ensures compliance, protects company resources, and supports scalable, efficient IT operations. Your Impact: Implement the mission of IT Desktop Hardware Asset Management by maintaining hardware assets across the enterprise and providing exceptional end-user support. Support the lifecycle management of desktop and mobile asset platforms, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, returns, and disposal. Continuously assess asset management controls and documentation, ensuring alignment with evolving processes and sustained audit readiness. Identify and implement opportunities to improve process and procedure efficiency through automation. Physically handle and move IT equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed during deployment, retrieval, and inventory processes.

Requirements

  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management, governance, and risk controls
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, SCCM, Workspace One and PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation and perform detailed reviews to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A risk- and control-focused mindset with strong governance awareness
  • Ability to identify and implement automation and process improvements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret asset data and trends

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience with IT Hardware Asset Management (preferred)
