About The Position

The Resilient Missile Warning/Missile Tracking (Resilient MWT) Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) program provides a capability-based, phased delivery approach to meet the operational objective system that fully satisfies the Missile Warning (MW) and Missile Defense (MD) Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Capability Development Document (CDD). The Property/IT Asset Manager supports GMI delivery operations by overseeing the full lifecycle of all IT assets and Government Property managed by the program to enable service delivery.  The Asset Manager provides consistent and accurate information on all managed IT assets to maximize customer value, control costs, manage risk, safeguard property, support decision-making, and meet regulatory and contractual requirements. In this position equipment will be managed across the globe. Prepares draft procedure changes to implement FAR/DFARS requirements or locally directed management changes. Performs self-assessment audits of compliance to published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience with BS/BA d egree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TSI/SCI Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of asset management experience in program organizations responsible for delivering IT services of similar scope and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT asset management, asset management databases (e.g., asset database, CMDB), and other ITSM tools, solutions, software.
  • ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundation to align with the latest version of DESMF or ability to obtain.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements.
  • Certified TBM Executive (CTBME) or ability to obtain.
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process
  • Prior experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to track and manage projects.
  • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation and management of a total asset visibility solution/tool to improve asset visibility and asset data management.
  • Ensures configuration management database (CMDB) accuracy and compliance with asset management processes.
  • Manages the service level agreement (SLA) measurement and reporting requirements for the asset management practice area, including SLAs on hardware and CMDB accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Supports audits to provide health checks against existing data to ensure the CMDB and automated discovery databases/workflows are consistent with the physical state of all assets and configuration items in the IT environment and vice versa.
  • Prepares periodic and special purpose reports related to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
  • Prepares asset reporting and deliverable requirements to include creating and maintaining asset dashboards, spreadsheets, and websites as required.
  • Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Coordinates the training of program employees on the Government Property Control System procedures and related FAR requirements.
  • Prepare draft procedure changes to implement FAR/DFARS requirements or locally directed management changes, in compliance with Peraton’s Corporate Procedures.
  • Performs self-assessment program audits of compliance to published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.
  • Provides support for Peraton internal self-assessments.
  • Acts as the liaison between the program and Corporate Property for enterprise Property Management System Analysis (PMSA).
