Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing, implementing, or supporting business applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure application modules and independently resolve moderately complex application issues.
  • Experience with application deployment, testing, and system integration support; familiarity with data mapping and interface troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and software development lifecycle methodologies; project management or business analysis experience is a plus.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supporting systems; flexible packaging or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, VB, AI Programming or Progress programming language; experience working with database queries or working alongside developers is a plus.
  • Application Expertise: Independently configures modules and features to meet business requirements; understands data structures and core application architecture across assigned systems.
  • Business Process Understanding: Demonstrates good understanding of end-to-end business processes supported by assigned applications and how configurations impact those processes.
  • Troubleshooting & RCA: Independently diagnoses and resolves complex application errors and performance issues; performs root cause analysis for recurring problems.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to translate complex technical topics for business audiences and engage diplomatically with users around change.
  • Autonomy & Problem-Solving: Works independently on most tasks; solves moderately complex problems using standard procedures and sound judgment; knows when to escalate.
  • Project & Initiative Management: Manages smaller application projects or significant workstreams; takes initiative to identify and solve problems within scope; follows project plans and timelines with minimal oversight.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaises with application vendors for issue resolution; manages work through third parties; communicates effectively with business stakeholders on application matters.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: May provide informal guidance or assistance to junior team members or end users; contributes to team documentation and knowledge base.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI or business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Experience with ERP platforms common to manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, DTR, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with MES, WMS, or manufacturing operations systems.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms or application automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Independently configure application modules and features to meet defined business requirements; understand underlying data structures and core application architecture.
  • Provide first and second-level application support; deliver user training and develop comprehensive support materials.
  • Proactively identify user needs and suggest application usage improvements; partner with business teams to drive adoption and efficiency.
  • Support existing software which may require coverage outside of standard business hours.
  • Participate in or lead deployment of application enhancements, new modules, and updates; manage deployment tasks and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Review proposals, statements of work, and project documentation for application-related initiatives; collaborate with technical resources to test application functionality.
  • Utilize Monday.com and other workload management tools to document, assign, track, and follow up on requests, incidents, and project tasks.
  • Support and troubleshoot existing application interfaces (e.g., SAP-MES, ERP integrations); understand data mapping and transformation rules for assigned integrations.
  • Communicate and translate business requirements into clear, actionable system specifications; ensure stakeholder alignment on requirements, designs, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with business customers to ensure systems continually meet or exceed operational expectations.
  • Independently diagnose and resolve complex application errors and performance issues; perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement preventative measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data errors and processing issues, working with technical resources and vendors as needed to restore normal operations efficiently.
  • Work independently on most tasks, solving moderately complex problems using standard procedures and sound judgment; escalate appropriately when broader impact is identified.
  • Manage smaller application-related projects or significant workstreams within larger programs; take initiative to identify and solve problems within scope.
  • Perform analysis, design, and process evaluations based on business requirements; promote adoption of new solutions among business users and functional areas.
  • Participate actively in IT functional team collaborations; share updates, surface risks, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and practices.
  • Liaise with application vendors for issue resolution and technical queries; communicate complex technical information effectively to business stakeholders on application matters.
  • Manage work through vendors and third parties; support budget planning and management activities related to assigned applications.
