About The Position

The IT Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of software applications, including system builds, upgrades, patches, and enhancements. This role partners with business and clinical stakeholders to analyze operational needs, evaluate software releases or new products, and recommend solutions that improve processes, system performance, and cost efficiency. The Application Analyst performs and documents workflow assessments to define functional requirements and ensure optimal utilization of applications. This role develops system test plans, executes testing for upgrades and patches, and maintains accurate test documentation. The Analyst supports incident, problem, and change management processes, provides daily on-call support for application-related issues, and works within cross-functional teams to enable application integration that meets business and clinical needs. As an Experienced Professional, the Application Analyst works independently with general supervision, resolves moderately difficult issues, and contributes to project work by supporting smaller initiatives or components of larger projects related to software releases and implementations.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting and optimizing enterprise software applications
  • Experience with application builds, upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
  • Strong ability to analyze business or clinical workflows and document functional requirements
  • Experience developing test plans and performing system and upgrade testing
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and service request management processes
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating application issues, upgrades, and enhancements

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (Preferred)
  • OR Experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of relevant experience with a degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
  • No specific certification or licensure requirements
