About The Position

The IT Analyst provides on-site and remote technical support to refinery users, delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support across a large industrial facility. This role supports Help Desk operations, deploys and maintains IT equipment, troubleshoots hardware, software, network issues, and assists with small IT projects. Reports to the Refinery IT Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, subnetting)
  • Experience with imaging/deployment tools (WDS/MDT, PDQ, SCCM, WSUS)
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs

  • Conference room A/V experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support for ~600 users
  • Answer Help Desk calls, create/manage tickets, and resolve Tier 1 & Tier 2 issues
  • Deploy and support workstations, phones, printers, and network equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs and support
  • Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing system
  • Support refinery locations while following all safety and PPE requirements
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required
