Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • General understanding of computer hardware, software, networking concepts, and common IT terminology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an Information Technology department or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
  • Experience with inventory management and asset tracking systems.
  • Basic understanding of business technology infrastructure and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the CIO and Information Technology Department.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and coordination point for IT staff, facilitating communication and scheduling across the department.
  • Answer incoming IT help desk calls and create support tickets on behalf of internal employees.
  • Monitor, track, and route support requests to appropriate IT personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT service requests and departmental documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and departmental events as needed.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing IT inventory, including receiving, tracking, documenting, and coordinating distribution of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with procurement activities, purchase orders, vendor communications, and invoice processing.
  • Maintain departmental files, asset records, and inventory databases.
  • Support IT projects through scheduling, documentation, and administrative coordination.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating equipment distribution and collection.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
