About The Position
The Maven Group's client is supporting a modernization effort for a Maryland customer on a multi-year mission support program. We have multiple new direct-hire ISSO and ISSE needs in Annapolis Junction, MD. These positions are full-time (direct-hire) with a base pay starting above $200k and offering three different health care plans, co-matching 401k with 100% vest, PTO, a professional development program, and more.
Requirements
- BS and at least 10 years of applicable experience (15+ years for Expert Level)
- TS/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph clearance
- Knowledge of and/or experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with common security tools, such as Nessus, NMAP and Wireshark hardware/software security implementation, communication protocol, encryption techniques/tools, and web services.
Responsibilities
- Completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining SSPs and other security related documentation.
- Hands-on vulnerability testing experience.
