About The Position

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst / ISSO to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This position is located at Headquarters SOCOM on MacDill AFB, FL. The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst / ISSO to join our IT team.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
  • A DoW Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience related to IT Risk Management, Information System Security, and/or Cybersecurity.
  • DoW 8570 IAT II Certified.
  • Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 722 - Information Systems Security Manager - Intermediate level or higher.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DISA RMF cloud accreditation.
  • Knowledge of DoW Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) controls and cloud authorization processes.
  • Experience supporting continuous monitoring and remediation for cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Senior (SR) = BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manages assigned cybersecurity and RMF activities under the direction of the ISSM.
  • Supports the security authorization lifecycle for assigned systems in accordance with RMF, organizational policy, and government guidance.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains RMF documentation and authorization artifacts, including SSPs, FIPS 199, Contingency Plans, and related supporting records.
  • Conducts security control assessments, artifact reviews, stakeholder interviews, and compliance validation activities. Identifies security control weaknesses, documents assessment results, and supports corrective action and remediation planning.
  • Implements and supports continuous monitoring activities to maintain the security and compliance of assigned systems. Uses eMASS, STIGs/SRGs, and STIG Viewer to support control implementation, assessment tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Applies knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-37, FISMA, FISCAM, and related federal and DoD cybersecurity guidance.
  • Supports cloud security compliance and authorization activities in accordance with the DoD Cloud Computing SRG, FedRAMP baselines, and DISA RMF requirements.
  • Prepares status updates and dynamic briefings for stakeholders and leadership using standard Microsoft PowerPlatform and Office tools.
  • Cybersecurity Analysts / ISSOs work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.
