About The Position

ISSM is responsible for overseeing and managing the security of an organization’s stand-alone information systems, commercial and squadron developed networks, as well as collected data. This includes, with the assistance of the ISSO, developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls, as well as conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security testing. The ISSM works closely with primarily the ISSO, as well as other security professionals and IT staff, to ensure that the organization’s information systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with relevant laws, DoD regulations, and industry standards.

  • Over 10 years of experience and a master’s degree in the applicable discipline.
  • Must have a minimum of an active U.S TOP SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
