About The Position

Apogee Engineering is seeking an experienced ISR Training Director to provide independent technical and project management Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the USSF ISR enterprise. This role involves instruction, development, and maintenance of curriculum for domain-specific foundational intelligence training and tradecraft training, including space targeting, space foreign instrumentation signals (FIS), cyber intelligence, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED), and all-source intelligence analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • TS and SCI eligible clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • BS degree with 12+ years of experience
  • Experience with DoD task management systems, senior-level correspondence, and coordination across multi-level organizations
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical and executive level written products.
  • Prior PM experience with expertise in intelligence training.
  • Representative instructor credentials include prior Service Intelligence Training, USAFWS instructor, National Cryptologic School faculty, NSSI instructor, DOT/DOV qualified instructor.

  • Qualified in Instructional Systems Design/Curriculum Development.
  • MS degree with 10+ years experience
  • PhD with 7+ years experience
  • PM with over 20+ years experience with Space Intelligence.
  • Former Delta 7 Commander or Delta 7 ISR Squadron Commander or Training SME.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Government’s primary point of contact and senior on-site representative for the Prime Contractor
  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and guidance for all Instructor personnel and activities
  • Assign tasks, supervise ongoing efforts, and manage overall contract performance and deliverables
  • Possess authority to commit to the organization and make decisions in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments
  • Be readily available to respond to Government questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify and alert the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues and recommend corrective action.
  • Lead course development, instruction, and curriculum updates for Space Force ISR training programs.
  • Serve as the schoolhouse ISR instructor, ensuring course content remains current, relevant, and aligned with USSF ISR requirements.
  • Train students in FISINT fundamentals, collection methodologies, analytic techniques, and real‑world tradecraft application.
  • Maintain instructional quality and support continuous improvement across the training pipeline.
  • Update written Assessments including written exams, performance exercises, and rubrics for all courses.
  • Train students in the fundamentals of collecting, analyzing, and applying FISINT techniques and tradecraft using real‑world operational scenarios.
  • Maintain close coordination with mission partners to ensure training reflects current operational needs.
