About The Position

The Integrated System Planning (ISP) Analyst, Gas Planning will be responsible for managing location centric integrated resource planning within the Gas domain. The analyst will work with Gas planning, construction and finance organizations to ensure planning assumptions and related outputs are well governed, accurate and meet the needs of the broader integrated system planning ecosystem. Essential Functions Model through ambiguity as it relates to critical location-centric assumptions and inputs within the Gas domain. Interface with Gas organizations to determine guardrails as it relates to location centric Gas planning and deployment throughput . Independently evaluates and quantifies risks and issues affecting scope, schedule, and cost across gas (or transmission) planning scenarios, ensuring alignment with integrated system planning efforts. Integrate Gas insights into broader company wide planning deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in economics, data science, engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of job relevant Gas Planning experience.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of gas planning concepts, including development of key assumptions, data inputs, and scenario analysis.
  • Applies output from gas planning tools (e.g., Plexos) to inform asset planning decisions and system investment strategies.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights.
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear written documentation, presentations, and discussions.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • Applies foundational project management principles to support planning studies, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

  • Experience in the electric utility industry.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Upon Hire
