Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ISO Team Lead with a strong background in Property & Casualty ISO reporting to oversee and coordinate our ISO compliance reporting efforts. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for ISO regulatory requirements and will ensure the timely and accurate submission of data to ISO and other regulatory bodies. The ISO Team Lead will also mentor a team of reporting specialists and support process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent insurance industry experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Property & Casualty ISO statistical and regulatory reporting.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO reporting requirements, formats, and related state regulatory operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable team processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or team management experience a plus.
  • experience with reporting and data validation tools (SQL, Power Query, Access, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for all aspects of ISO statistical reporting for Property & Casualty insurance lines.
  • Oversee the preparation, validation, and submission of ISO statistical reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and ISO/regulatory bodies for reporting requirements, audits, and data calls.
  • Monitor regulatory changes from ISO and state departments and recommend/report necessary process or system adjustments.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in ISO statistical reporting processes.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to team members on ISO data requirements, report formats, and compliance protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Claims teams to ensure data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Prepare responses to ISO and regulatory data requests, inquiries, audits, and address issues as needed.
  • Generate periodic management reports and communicate reporting status, issues, and improvement opportunities.
