About The Position

Pro QC International is seeking an experienced ISO 9001 Auditor for a contract role. The auditor will perform audits at client supplier manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists to identify risks and potential issues. Responsibilities include classifying audit findings against ISO 9001 requirements, communicating findings with the audit team, and issuing audit reports on time. This is a 1099 contractor position with a current project duration of 2 man-days, typically on a regular day shift, though project schedules may vary. The role requires travel to Monticello, Iowa, and surrounding areas. Pro QC International has been assisting clients with quality and production challenges since 1984, operating in over 88 countries with a global team.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds
• Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
• Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Operations and production management
• Supply chain and logistics
• Construction and infrastructure
• Food processing and packaging
• Healthcare and medical devices
• Energy and utilities
• Must be able to travel to Monticello, Iowa 52310 and nearby areas

Responsibilities

• Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
• Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
• Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
