About The Position
This Teaching Assistant position is for the course ISLA 210 Muslim Societies, taught by Malek Abisaab. The position is for one (1) assistant for 180 hours per term. The Teaching Assistant will assist the Course Supervisor in a classroom environment. McGill University is an English-language university requiring English communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Requirements
- Must be a McGill graduate student registered in an MA or PhD degree program in the term of the appointment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Islamic Studies within a North American context is required.
- Applicants must be in good standing in their academic program.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based/located.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Islamic civilization is preferred.
