The IS Technician II is responsible for the installation, configuration, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers, terminals, printers, and related equipment. This role involves providing support for these tasks, installing and maintaining software and hardware, upgrading, repairing, and replacing computer-related equipment. The technician will coordinate work orders, assist IS Tech I's with daily planning, and maintain an up-to-date inventory of computer equipment. Additionally, they will assist the IS Tech Manager with site audits and reviews, train other technicians on IT infrastructure cabling methods, and ensure departmental goals and metrics are met. The role also includes acting as a subject matter expert, performing high-level administrative functions, ensuring proper installation and termination of network cabling, providing training to computer users and the IS Technician team, and assisting with the planning, installation, and maintenance of network and computer infrastructure. Responsibilities extend to maintaining security camera systems, assisting IS Leadership with project management, and adhering to attendance policies. The position requires the ability to travel between FHCN locations and other non-FHCN locations as needed.
