About The Position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting, designing, maintaining, testing, documenting, and implementing Hospital Information Systems Infrastructure. Must have extensive knowledge of internet, routers, switches, firewalls, voice communications, access control, single sign on, video system management, etc. and advise other team members. Works highly independently, leading large project implementations and serves as a resource to peers. Develops plans for and implements system maintenance, including routine updates and urgent patches. Participates in on-call support as needed to offer 24x7 support to the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree preferred or Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 Years of related network infrastructure experience or a related area.
  • Familiarity with health care related Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Demonstrates progressive management experience.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of active directory, single sign-on, Duo Administration, and knowledge of Google administration.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting, designing, maintaining, testing, documenting, and implementing Hospital Information Systems Infrastructure
  • Leading large project implementations
  • Developing plans for and implements system maintenance, including routine updates and urgent patches
  • Participating in on-call support as needed to offer 24x7 support to the organization
  • Organize, plan, facilitate and participate in system conversion, implementations, and upgrades utilizing a strong knowledge of network, edge devices, data center technology, voice, wireless, access control and video management systems.
  • Provide users, vendors, colleagues, and supervisors with timely, accurate and pertinent communications and documentation relating to all systems problems, activities, and projects.
  • Provide support and coverage for all Information Services functions as needed or assigned.
  • Provide on-call support for all Information Services as assigned.
  • Establishes and maintains work schedules.
  • Assists in development of proposals for new equipment.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
