About The Position

The IS Operations Consultant provides consulting, planning, and operational support for technology initiatives across the organization. This is a Dallas-based hybrid role supporting our Identity Access Management (IAM) team within Cybersecurity and is a strong entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow in information systems, cybersecurity operations, and business process support. This role will contribute to demand planning, support requirements gathering and story development, assist with process improvement efforts, and help support strategic and operational initiatives. Working closely with cybersecurity, technical teams, and business partners, this position helps develop and implement effective business and technical solutions.

  • Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

Nice To Haves

  • Interest or exposure to Identity Access Management (IAM) or cybersecurity operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with demand planning, requirements gathering, or user story development preferred.
  • Basic understanding of project management and change management principles.
  • Experience in information systems, business analysis, operations, or related internship/entry-level work preferred.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, IAM, project support, or process improvement is a plus.
  • Experience with technical documentation, reporting tools, or systems support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Identity Access Management (IAM) team with operational and strategic initiatives related to cybersecurity and access management.
  • Assist with demand planning, gathering requirements, documenting user stories, and supporting project and operational priorities.
  • Analyze current systems, processes, and procedures to help identify opportunities for improvement and support recommended solutions.
  • Provide analytical and consultative support to business and technical teams to support operational and technology-related decisions.
  • Participate in planning and design meetings to help identify business needs and support solution development.
  • Support change management activities, implementation planning, and project coordination aligned with organizational initiatives.
  • Help identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and support operational goals.
  • Participate in testing activities, including documentation, test planning support, and issue tracking as needed.
  • Support development and implementation of standard processes and operational improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors on assigned initiatives and projects.
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and recommendations supporting resource planning and operational needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technology, process improvement practices, and organizational tools.
