About The Position

The IS Manager, Connected Incubation Hub, leads a cross-functional team responsible for rapidly exploring, validating, and delivering emerging technology capabilities that improve recruiting, selling, talent, and enterprise operations across Allegis Group and its operating companies. This role operates at the intersection of AI, data science, recommendations, product, architecture, and business workflows. The IS Manager turns ambiguous opportunities into evidence-based experiments, proofs of value, pilots, and clear scale or stop recommendations across multiple enterprise technology platforms. The role partners closely with Business, Product, UX, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Legal, Security, AI governance, TPRM, and strategic vendors. The IS Manager is accountable for portfolio movement, team leadership, stakeholder alignment, experiment measurement, responsible AI practices, and successful handoff of validated capabilities.

Requirements

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience leading development teams - preferred managed.
  • Experience delivering capabilities through Agile, iterative, product, or experimentation-based methods.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale applications, cloud platforms, data products, AI or machine learning capabilities, or comparable emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary development efforts and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology investments to user needs and measurable business value.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing or ambiguous demands.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level.
  • Experience managing large budgets and finances.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business problems into executable plans, measurable outcomes, and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, Elastic, Snowflake, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Prior Experience in the Staffing Industry – a plus.
  • Prior Technical / Development / Product experience – a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives in parallel, aligning scope, capacity, timing, dependencies, and enterprise priorities.
  • Facilitate problem framing, hypothesis development, experiment planning, decision making, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Guide teams in building and testing working solutions across cloud, CRM, data, search, AI, API, and user-experience layers.
  • Remove delivery roadblocks, identify risks early, create mitigation plans, and escalate issues affecting outcomes.
  • Ensure experiments include user feedback loops, instrumentation, measurement, documentation, and exit criteria.
  • Present findings, tradeoffs, recommendations, and investment implications to technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Promote reusable patterns and clear knowledge transfer for transition to product, platform, architecture, or delivery teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement in experimentation, software delivery, data quality, responsible AI, and cross-functional ways of working.
  • Act as Coach-Leader, coaching others in their development as leaders, catalyzing the growth of people’s capacity to embrace greater complexity, and focus on helping others formulate their development agenda.
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for feature work; and mentoring team members.
  • Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team.
  • Management responsibility for the teams, including hiring, leadership, development and accountability for performance.
  • Establish operational/team objectives and goals.
  • Develops and manages budget.
  • Produces monthly forecasts.
  • Approves operational expenditures.
  • Plans capacity fluctuations based on roadmap of features.
