Requirements
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- 5+ Years Dedicated Irrigation Experience in commercial or high-end residential systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Hunter ACC2/ICD and Rain Bird ESP-LXIVM systems (decoders, tracking open wires, shorts, and wire path tracing).
- Hands-on experience using multimeters, wire locators, and valve locators for solenoid resistance, amp, and voltage testing.
- Expertise in diagnosing stuck/weeping valves, diaphragm failures, and high-pressure PVC mainline/lateral repairs.
Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot, service, and repair complex 2-wire and conventional irrigation systems.
- Use advanced diagnostic locators and meters to trace faults, find buried valves, and repair electrical shorts efficiently.
- Program commercial controllers, build custom water schedules, and perform system audits.
- Document job notes cleanly and recommend system upgrades directly to property managers and homeowners.
