About The Position

We are currently looking for a creative and dynamic Irrigation Technician II to join our Grounds team! Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience. Will exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community. The position will have a primary focus on irrigation repair and maintenance. This is a Full-Time position.

Requirements

Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self-actions.
Must be compliant with and actively support a drug free workplace.
Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written.
Will energetically support all training activities with this department to ensure consistency throughout grounds operation.
Will perform all duties of Operator 3 with excellence but not be limited to these tasks.
Will perform all duties in a safe operating manner while wearing all required safety equipment.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Will operate irrigation controllers.
Will perform Irrigation controller repairs.
Will program the irrigation computer.
Will track wire and make repairs.
Will hand water new plantings and perform wet checks.
Will adjust and repair irrigation system as needed.
