About The Position

Ryan Lawn & Tree is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician Specialist to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems. This role involves conducting system audits, recommending water-saving upgrades, performing seasonal maintenance (startups, shut-downs, winterizations), and providing excellent customer service and account management. The ideal candidate will have a sales mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, with a willingness to assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

2+ years in irrigation installation, service, or repair.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push/pull objects, and walk at least 3 miles per day in diverse weather conditions.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, heads, and piping.
Conduct system audits and recommend water-saving upgrades.
Identify and sell enhancements that improve the client’s property.
Perform essential seasonal maintenance, including startups, shut-downs, and winterizations.
Provide excellent account management by clearly communicating repairs and service recommendations to customers.
