About The Position

Sells Reinke irrigation systems, equipment, parts and related services to new and existing customers. Builds lasting customer relationships through on-site visits, follow-up, and responsive support. Occasionally assists with troubleshooting and repair of irrigation equipment as business needs require.

Requirements

Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet applications, and dealership systems to document customer and sales activity.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in equipment or agricultural sales preferred; irrigation equipment experience is a plus.
Knowledge of agricultural practices, irrigation systems, and basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting preferred.
Strong customer relationship, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Represents Grossenburg Implement in the sale of Reinke irrigation systems and John Deere equipment within an assigned area.
Identifies customer irrigation needs, recommends appropriate products and solutions, prepares quotes, and follows the dealership sales process through delivery and follow-up.
Maintains current knowledge of Reinke and John Deere products, features, benefits, and applicable financing options; attends relevant sales and product training.
Develops relationships with new and existing customers through farm visits, follow-up calls, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
Maintains accurate customer, equipment, and sales activity information for the assigned territory and communicates market trends and competitive activity to management.
Coordinates with the Parts and Service departments on product availability, installation, maintenance, repairs, and customer support.
Promotes irrigation parts, service, inspections, and other relevant aftermarket offerings to customers.
Assists with customer events, product presentations, and equipment demonstrations as needed.
Occasionally troubleshoots irrigation equipment issues and performs repairs within training and qualifications, coordinating with Service on work beyond that scope.
Maintains assigned company vehicles, tools, and equipment and follows company safety practices while working at customer locations.
