About The Position

Irregular Warfare Uniform Support Analyst The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. What You’ll Work On: Serve as the SME in OPFOR, augment the OPFOR primary staff during the military decision-making process, produce annexes and products, advise the commanders, and conduct briefings as required. Certify as a WARSIM Battle Simulation Workstation Operator. Prepare computer simulation with exercise scenario plan command and control graphics. Prepare computer simulation by placing assigned units into doctrinal formations, ensuring placement is situated to the terrain and is a tactically correct representation based on combat orders and the scenario. Mentor and supervise WARSIM Battle Simulation Workstation Operators. Input computer orders and generate reports as directed. Ensure the OPFOR Commander’s intent is executed in JLCCTC and ensure all operations are compliant with current applicable OPFOR doctrine. Coordinate maneuver operations between command post staff and simulation operators. Manage efforts for the OPFOR Support Division. Deploy to forward locations to assist with OPFOR operations in various countries, as required, in support of U.S. military operations. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint regulations and current doctrine
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in the military, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the military

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a field grade officer, warrant officer, or sergeant major
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level
  • Experience with Constructive Simulation Models such as Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) or Warfighters Simulation (WARSIM)
  • Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP)
  • Knowledge of FM 7-100 series OPFOR doctrine
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Master's degree
