Requirements

Ensure quality workmanship on all completed work.
Capable of meeting or exceeding established production standards.
Trade specific workforce quality.
Maintain sufficient personal hand tools for assigned tasks.
Perform quality control inspections on RK work.
A minimum of 5 years of ironworking experience required.
Prior to being hired must be capable of proficiently passing 3G & 4G SMAW weld test.
Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
Work in all types of weather.
Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

Hanging, connecting, installing iron.
Cut, position, bolt down steel bars.
Erect steel frames.
Direct operation of cranes to move structural steel, reinforcing bars, and other materials onto and around the construction site.
Make sure all pieces are fitted properly and complete repairs as necessary.
