Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, Tool-Box Shop Talks and safety procedures, Operator's Manuals and maintenance instructions
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Understanding of angles and degrees
Working knowledge of AWS D1.1. and the following processes, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW
Current welder certifications or ability to pass weld test
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment

Nice To Haves

Experience in the misc. metals field preferred

Responsibilities

Utilize welding and fabricating skills vital for the installation of stairs, rails and miscellaneous metals
Organize tools and materials for the installation of stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals
Follow all safety procedures and expectations, including wearing proper PPE and site-specific safety plans
Ensure that work performed exceeds the high-quality standards of Hanover Iron Works, Inc.
