The Condado Collection is a collection of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico, ranging from classic and modern luxury hotels to restaurants and entertainment. La Concha Resort is a modern luxury resort in Condado, Puerto Rico with a history dating back to 1958. Requirements

  • Hospitality service-oriented
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry objects for extended periods of time
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Willing and able to perform basic cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving guest orders by phone, accurately entering orders into the POS system, and coordinating with kitchen and delivery staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Respond to room service calls promptly and courteously.
  • Provide menu information, recommendations, and suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Communicate special requests and dietary needs to kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns efficiently, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all room service transactions.
  • Ensure the room service area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist with inventory control and restocking as needed.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
  • Anticipate and communicate the need for supply replenishment.
  • Complete designated cash reports, resolve any discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure the cash drawer.
  • Perform closing duties.
  • Be prepared to answer guest questions about the menu directly and concisely.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure quality expectations and standards are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
