About The Position
Tacten is currently recruiting IRATA Technicians (all Levels) to support upcoming projects in the Atlantic Region, specifically in Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Project-based work located in Halifax/Dartmouth, NS. Candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region. Requirements
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification
- Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset
- Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
Responsibilities
- Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height
- Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes
- Assisting with rescue services when required
- Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks
- Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others
