Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad. Saber Power Services is seeking an IRA Compliance Coordinator to support the Company's Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance program. This position is based in our Houston office located near Ellington Field and plays a key role in ensuring compliance with prevailing wage, apprenticeship, and federal reporting requirements for qualifying projects. The IRA Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering compliance activities associated with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This position supports project teams, subcontractors, payroll, and third-party consultants by collecting, reviewing, tracking, and maintaining documentation required to demonstrate compliance with prevailing wage and registered apprenticeship requirements. The IRA Compliance Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for compliance documentation, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and submitted in accordance with federal regulations, owner requirements, and company policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, contract administration, payroll administration, human resources, project administration, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Davis-Bacon Act, prevailing wage, certified payroll, or government contract compliance is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of prevailing wage laws, certified payroll, or government compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, payroll, or compliance management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate compliance activities for projects subject to Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, owners, and third-party compliance consultants.
  • Collect, review, and maintain certified payroll records, fringe benefit documentation, apprenticeship records, and supporting compliance documents.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with prevailing wage and registered apprenticeship requirements.
  • Track project compliance milestones and ensure all required documentation is submitted on time.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical project compliance files.
  • Review compliance documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to federal regulations.
  • Enter and maintain project information within compliance tracking systems and internal databases.
  • Assist with wage determinations and ensure applicable wage rates are properly documented.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports required by project owners, government agencies, and third-party administrators.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Human Resources, Operations, and Project Management to obtain required documentation.
  • Identify compliance issues and escalate concerns to management when appropriate.
  • Assist with internal and external compliance audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal and payroll information.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance processes and reporting.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
