About The Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced IR Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Interventional Radiology with experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of procedures. This position is located in a facility in the city of [City, State], with multiple locations within the region. New hires will undergo a 1-2 day unit orientation to familiarize themselves with protocols and procedures. All required modules must be completed prior to the start date. Delays will occur if modules are not finalized ahead of arrival.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• ARRT certification
• BLS Certification
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Experience with coronary procedures
• Experience with balloon pumps and Impella systems
• Experience with advanced IR technologies including laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, IABP, FFR, and angiojet

Nice To Haves

• Merge Hemo system knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to peripheral and coronary cases.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and technology during procedures, including Merge Hemo system.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide care to critically ill patients throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with a charge nurse and other medical staff for optimal patient care.
• Respond to on-call requirements and maintain a response time of approximately 30 minutes.
