About The Position

The IR Tech performs routine and specialized radiographic procedures in the Special Procedures areas and provides patient care and physician assistance during those procedures. The position reports to the Practice Coordinator, Interventional Radiology.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health–Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
• Knowledge of contrast media, radiation physics, anatomy, and radiographic positioning.
• Familiarity with a variety of radiographic and support equipment, including the ability to independently operate and troubleshoot the equipment.

Nice To Haves

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
• Experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
