About The Position

This position is responsible for providing guidance and ensuring compliance with management directives to Team Members in the IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a meat processing /manufacturing environment
Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.
This position will be exposed to possible cold temperatures and wet conditions.
This position will require walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Nice To Haves

Lead or supervision or managerial experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Providing guidance and ensuring compliance with management directives to the Team Members on a daily basis.
Assist, train, and encourage Team Members in their area of responsibility.
Set up their line(s) for production and any other duties assigned by Management.
Complete each job in the IQF area.
Complete various log sheets.
Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture, receive training as required & perform various positions as required/assigned.
Complete Tyson paperwork
Read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.
