About The Position

The Lead is responsible for coordination of department functions. Scheduling, Production efficiencies, Housekeeping, etc. Position: 1st Lead Packager Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday - Thursday - 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends) Base Rate: $ $19.50 /HR Essential Job Functions Communicates with supervisor to determine department priorities, personnel needs, machinery issues, etc. Responsible for all job functions related to quality audits: correct parts, labels, quantities, packaging. Trains new employees, and answers processing questions for products in department. Promotes Safety / Housekeeping throughout department and plant. Operates machinery and processes orders as needed. Work involves exposure to dirt and noise. Perform data entry into E-1 system. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

  • Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to work accurately with numbers, Lean charting, and Hour X Hour charts
