The IPM Technician III performs IPM Scouting and Product application tasks to support the operations within the Cultivation department, while abiding by laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. In addition, as determined by business need, IPM Technician III employees may be flexed to provide support in flower, veg, mom, propagation, harvest and post-harvest areas.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass respirator fit testing

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting all plants and rooms across assigned facility
  • Completing spray assignments as assigned by management
  • Taking notes on and assessing plant health, pest issues, and cleanliness of grow rooms for daily reports by email as well as the Trulieve SharePoint
  • Taking plant samples for inspection to identify pests or plant health issues
  • Partner with staff and management to identify problems across the grow and collaborate on developing and implementing solutions
  • Researching pests and plant health issues and how to better deal with them in a compliant manner
  • Work independently with excellent time management skills to inspect all rooms in facilities before light cycle switches off
  • Verbal presentations for weekly management meetings
  • Clean and maintain equipment necessary for the completion of all tasks
  • Conduct tasks in mother and clone production areas to increase cultivation skills as IPM Technician III
  • Cutting, Sticking, and Tagging clones
  • Proper clone care, irrigation, and dome management
  • Irrigating plants utilizing various methods
  • Identifying and disposing of Green Waste
  • Documenting testing results through reports and logs
  • Inputting data into the company database
  • Pruning and defoliating
  • Culling plants
  • Take part in educational activities to prepare for pesticide licensing
  • All other duties as assigned
