Requirements

  • Must be able to pass respirator fit testing

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Will be working in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must be able to wear IPM PPE including Tyvek Coveralls, FaceShield, Half and/or Full Face Respirators, and Protective Gloves while mixing, loading, and spraying crops.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, repetitive movements and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
  • At times, the entire shift may be spent standing and walking.
  • Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger and elbow movement.
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to communicate with conversational proficiency with co-workers, vendors, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects all plants and rooms across assigned facility
  • Completes spray assignments as assigned by management
  • Takes notes on and assessing plant health, pest issues, and cleanliness of grow rooms for daily reports by email as well as the Trulieve SharePoint
  • Takes plant samples for inspection to identify pests or plant health issues
  • Partners with staff and management to identify problems across the grow and collaborate on developing and implementing solutions
  • Researches pests and plant health issues and how to better deal with them in a compliant manner
  • Works independently with excellent time management skills to inspect all rooms in facilities before light cycle switches off
  • Provides verbal presentations for weekly management meetings
  • Cleans and maintains equipment necessary for the completion of all tasks
  • Conducts tasks in mother and clone production areas to increase cultivation skills as IPM Technician III
  • Cuts, Sticks, and Tags clones.
  • Performs proper clone care, irrigation, and dome management.
  • Irrigates plants utilizing various methods.
  • Identifies and disposes of Green Waste.
  • Documents testing results through reports and logs.
  • Inputs data into the company database.
  • Prunes and defoliates.
  • Culls plants.
  • Takes part in educational activities to prepare for pesticide licensing
  • All other duties as assigned
