About The Position

Cresco Labs is seeking an IPM Cultivation Agent to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining plant health through various cultivation and pest management tasks. The company is a large, vertically integrated operator in the cannabis industry, focused on quality, consistency, and integrity. Cresco Labs emphasizes social equity and educational development through its SEEDTM initiative and aims to normalize and professionalize the cannabis industry.

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in general production, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption. Or, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.
  • Effective time-management, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work as a self-starter.
  • Ability to stand and wear proper protective equipment for extended time periods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain State of Illinois Pesticide Applicator License; including completion of state required documents & exams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Ability to read pesticide labels.
  • Basic math comprehension.
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Measuring and mixing pesticide and foliar applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy.
  • Communication with IPM Supervisor and IPM Lead as well as other department supervisors and leads.
  • Ensuring plant health by scouting, scoping, and monitoring plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
  • Execution of pest / disease treatment schedules as outlined by the IPM Supervisor.
  • Assist with data entry, and track & trace.
  • Responsible for filling out all IPM logs and reports as outlined by the IPM Supervisor and IPM Lead.
