Requirements

2–5 years of patent litigation experience at a comparable law firm or IP boutique.
Technical background in engineering, software, or computer networking.
Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE) preferred.
Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
New York Bar admission required.
USPTO admission preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage various phases of patent litigation in federal courts.
Handle document production and review, discovery strategy, and meet-and-confer discussions.
Take and defend depositions.
Work closely with technical and damages experts in preparing expert reports.
Draft substantive legal memoranda, motions, and persuasive briefs.
Participate in PTAB proceedings, including inter partes reviews (IPRs), when applicable.
Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation planning.
