About The Position

A Mental Health Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting the professional nursing, medical, and ancillary staff with direct patient care activities. The technician will uphold Northeastern Center's standards for quality consumer care, working within a multidisciplinary team framework under the guidance of nursing staff. Key duties include maintaining a safe and clean environment, observing patient behavior, initiating therapeutic interactions, documenting pertinent information, and providing supportive services to promote optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid state issued Driver’s License

  • Experience in the mental health field preferred
