About The Position

Cellebrite is seeking talented researchers to join its industry-leading digital intelligence Security Research Labs group. As a security researcher, you will lead new projects focused on exploring under-researched territories and developing unique capabilities for evidence extraction from phones and other embedded devices. This role involves tackling the complexities of iPhones and other iOS devices, which feature hardware-backed encryption (SiDP), a secure coprocessor (SEP), and a secured boot chain (SecureROM). You will work with state-of-the-art exploit mitigations like PAC, KTRR, and PPL, and execute shell code on hardened mobile platforms. The position is part of the Labs Group, concentrating on Security Research for mobile devices, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with passionate researchers dedicated to solving modern digital intelligence challenges.

Requirements

  • Proven vulnerability research experience (preferably in iOS) - Must.
  • Experience with advanced exploitation techniques
  • ARM reverse engineering - Must.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and weaknesses.

Nice To Haves

  • Hardware research/board design - Advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Research on territories with little-explored vulnerability
  • Work on the production of world-unique capabilities to extract evidence from phones and other embedded devices.
  • Tackle challenges presented by iPhones and other iOS devices, including hardware-backed encryption (SiDP), secure coprocessor (SEP), and secured boot chain (SecureROM).
  • Address state-of-the-art exploit mitigations such as PAC, KTRR, and PPL on new iPhones.
  • Become a member of the Labs Group, focusing on Security Research for mobile devices.
