About The Position

We are seeking an experienced iOS Technical Architect to define and drive the overall iOS application architecture and technical roadmap. This role involves leading architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making, while establishing coding standards and best practices. You will mentor senior developers and engineering teams, collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and design scalable, modular, and maintainable architectures. The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and Concurrency, and will be responsible for ensuring high-performance, secure, and maintainable iOS applications.

Requirements

12+ years of relevant IT industry experience, including significant iOS architecture and technical leadership experience.
Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Core Data, and Networking.
Experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture.
Expertise in design patterns, dependency injection, and concurrency.
Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Fastlane, Azure DevOps/Jenkins.
Experience with AWS/Azure/Firebase mobile services.
Knowledge of security, encryption, authentication, and mobile performance optimization.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading large enterprise mobile applications.
Exposure to React Native or Flutter architectures.
Experience with SDK development and reusable frameworks.
Domain knowledge in Banking, Finance, Healthcare, or Insurance applications.
Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the overall iOS application architecture and technical roadmap.
Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices.
Mentor senior developers and engineering teams on scalable iOS solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Design scalable, modular, and maintainable architectures using MVC, MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, or TCA.
Define reusable frameworks, components, and SDK integration strategies.
Ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
Drive application modularization and dependency management initiatives.
Create architecture documents, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and Concurrency (Async/Await).
Design and implement high-performance mobile applications.
Lead integration of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and third-party services.
Ensure optimal memory management, multithreading, and application performance.
Implement secure coding practices, encryption, Keychain storage, and SSL Pinning.
Conduct architecture reviews and code quality assessments.
Define strategies for unit testing, UI testing, and automation testing.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize app startup time, memory usage, and battery consumption.
Review crash analytics and implement stability improvements.
Establish CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth, MFA, and Biometrics.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and data privacy regulations.
Perform security assessments and vulnerability reviews.
Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, UX Designers, and Backend teams.
Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and technical risk management.
Drive technical governance and architecture review boards.
Support onboarding and technical training initiatives.
