About The Position

Aqua Voice is building the voice input layer for the age of AI. We train our own models and build deep OS integrations because doing voice well requires controlling the entire stack. The way people work is changing. IC work is over; you manage AI agents now. This type of work is wonderfully suited for voice. We aren't building conversational agents. We believe the most natural way to interact with your computer is voice in text out (VITO). We believe that voice belongs at a level above the application, and that a small company can win by pushing the envelope. We are applying relentless energy to this opportunity and the results so far have been good. We hope you will join us. The Role We're building Aqua Voice for iOS. This is a greenfield project — you'll own the mobile experience from the ground up. What you'll work on: - Native iOS app with system-level voice input (keyboard extension, Shortcuts, Siri integration) - Real-time audio capture and streaming to our transcription backend - Deep iOS integrations This isn't a wrapper around a web view. We care about native performance and deep system integration. Stack - Swift (SwiftUI + UIKit where needed) - Audio : AVFoundation, Audio Unit, real-time streaming - Networking : WebSockets, streaming protocols - System : Keyboard extensions, Shortcuts, accessibility APIs

Requirements

• Shipped iOS apps to the App Store.
• Strong Swift fundamentals.
• Experience with audio capture/processing or real-time streaming.
• Comfortable working at the system level (extensions, background modes, entitlements).
• You're fast, you ship, you don't need hand-holding.
