About The Position

CGI is looking for an iOS Developer to join their team. This role requires an onsite presence in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Employer sponsorship for immigration visas or green card status will not be available for this client engagement. The candidate will serve as a technical expert on a large-scale mobile development project, working with both on-shore and off-shore developers. The Mobile Developer will collaborate with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Managers to build native applications, ensuring the creation of functional, scalable, and maintainable code that utilizes existing customer patterns.

Requirements

7+ years of experience with mobile development.
5+ years of experience with iOS App Development on Swift, Swift UI and Objective-C.
Strong Object-oriented background.
Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
Experience with XCode for coding, debugging, and deploying iOS apps.
Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning and mobile memory management.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
Familiarity with app architecture patterns MVC, MVP, MVVM.
4+ years of experience integrating with RESTful API's and JSON.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for code management.
Experience with XCTestFramework and XCUITestFramework.
Exceptional at component and unit testing of following standard practices and methodologies.
Ability to excel with on-time delivery with minimal supervision.
Strong agile/scrum development experience.
Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for sound and high-quality technical deliverables.
Analyze, quantize and estimate the amount of work for every sprint or release.
Understand the requirements, current state architecture of the enterprise, and create a roadmap for the future enhancements accordingly.
Develop mobile application code in coordination with other team members.
Integrate the mobile applications with the centralized authentication application.
Create Software Architecture Document, High-Level and Low-Level Design document, Nonfunctional requirements for the project.
Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business.
Be hands-on to develop or fix issues to deliver on time and with highest quality.
Work closely with BA/QA team members to create test plans, and ensure that the issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
Ensure that software design patterns like MVP, MVVM are strictly followed to define consistent layers in the software for maintainability and longevity.
Groom the team and develop the application with customer-centric ideas and innovation, helping the team attain a benchmark within the organization.
Escalate issues and concerns to the leads in a timely manner to avoid impacts to timelines.
Participate effectively in requirements gathering and analysis.
Apply technologies and domain knowledge with the delivery of developed or integrated components.
Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.
Triage or analyze situations for production support.
Utilize knowledge on biometric authentication and device capabilities like Camera, Phone state, Location, Notifications, Permissions management.
