As an iOS Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team working on modern mobile technologies in the growing digital health space. We’re a team of engineers, designers, and product professionals who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences that help people around the world breathe easier. You will be part of a team that partners closely with UX designers, product managers, and platform engineers to build and evolve shared UI foundations used throughout our digital consumer experiences. You will also collaborate with product teams to ensure these foundations enable the delivery of high-quality customer experiences across our mobile applications. You will work closely with talented engineers, designers, product managers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver industry-leading mobile applications while helping establish patterns and components that can be leveraged across teams.

Requirements

  • Seasoned iOS developer, with at least 3 years of mobile development experience
  • Hands-on experience developing apps in Swift for at least 3 years
  • Experience designing and architecting iOS applications and understanding various design patterns
  • Experience with the use of Continuous Integration and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience working with SwiftUI and modern iOS development practice
  • Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional product teams
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 3+ years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in design and development
  • 2+ years of experience making a significant individual contribution to real-world software development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with peripherals, wearables, and Bluetooth is desirable
  • Experience building reusable UI components, frameworks, or shared libraries
  • Experience contributing to or implementing a Design System
  • Experience working with modular architectures and Swift Package Manage
  • Experience collaborating with Android engineers to deliver consistent cross-platform experiences

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing high-quality iOS applications and shared mobile components
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of reusable UI components and shared mobile frameworks
  • Partner closely with UX designers to translate design patterns into scalable, accessible, and maintainable implementation
  • Drive consistency, quality, and usability across our mobile applications through shared components and best practices
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to identify software solutions to complex problems in our industry
  • Advocate for accessibility, performance, and developer experience when building shared solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers across teams, including Android counterparts, to encourage consistency and continuous improvement of shared mobile capabilities
  • Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automating functional testing wherever possible
  • Leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering workflows, to improve productivity, code quality, and team effectiveness
  • Conduct code reviews with other developers
  • Support and mentor other engineers through collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in technical interviews
