About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an iOS Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. This role is focused on the design and development of front-end applications for a dedicated mobile team. The ideal candidate will translate design mockups into functional user interfaces, implement front-end logic, and integrate back-end APIs. This is a hands-on development position requiring experience in building and maintaining next-generation iOS mobile applications within a large enterprise environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's in Software Engineering
5-7 years of professional experience as an application developer
5 years of experience in iOS Development using Swift, UIKit and/or Objective C
Hands-on experience with Copilot
Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
Strong working knowledge of iOS Frameworks, Objective-C, Swift & Swift UI
Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs
Able to create functional and attractive applications that meet user needs

Nice To Haves

Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Appium
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and prototype front-end applications for the mobile team
Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces and implement front-end logic
Develop screens and components by integrating back-end APIs
Collaborate with design and middleware teams to define and review app features and functionality
Ensure the quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and fix bugs
Maintain code and implement application updates
Design and build next-generation, high-end iOS mobile applications
