About The Position

BJAK is a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, founded in 2019 with the mission to help people plan, save, and grow their money. They are expanding into various financial services including spending, saving, investing, and travel. BJAK operates with a global team of over 20 nationalities, working remotely and from offices, and is seeking talented and driven individuals who are passionate about building next-generation financial products and redefining financial applications for everyone. This role is for an iOS engineer to build the native iOS experience for BJAK's AI Neobank app. The ideal candidate cares about clean user flows, fast performance, product quality, and shipping reliable mobile features used by real customers.

Requirements

Strong native iOS experience using Swift.
Experience shipping iOS apps used by real users.
Good understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await and iOS architecture patterns.
Strong product sense and care for UX, not just building screens.
Able to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability and app quality.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast without lowering the bar.
Strong English communication is required.

Responsibilities

Build and ship native iOS features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI-assisted user journeys.
Make complex financial flows feel clean, fast and simple on mobile.
Work with product, design, backend and AI engineers to take ideas from rough concept to production release.
Own app quality across performance, crash rate, loading states, edge cases, responsiveness and release stability.
Use production feedback, analytics and customer behaviour to improve features after launch.
Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with strong attention to reliability.
